About Chelsea "the Beagle"

Chelsea was my first Beagle, I was in the mall one evening before Christmas and there she was in a pet store window. I stood there watching her play. I was going to just go on about my business and ended up walking in and asking to see her. Next thing I knew I found myself a proud Beagle owner.

When Chelsea was young she loved to go anywhere with me, camping, fishing, on our boat it did not matter. However as she aged she liked just staying at home. Chelsea was a proud member of i-barc, an on-line group of beagles and their owners.

Chelsea enjoyed laying in the sunshine in the spring and summer, she loved treats and being petted. When the stereo was on and Madonna came on she would ARRROOO to the song.

Later in life she was diagnosed with a thyroid problem and put on medication for that condition.

On June 2nd 1997 she passed away of a stroke and was laid to rest in her backyard that she grew up in.

Her companionship and love will be missed.
